Terms and Conditions

Vital.se offers laboratory tests. In order to deliver the results of the laboratory tests to you, we work with subcontractors who are responsible for blood sampling, and testing the blood sample. The results of your samples will then be presented to you in our results portal.

Who can use the service

To order a laboratory tests, you will need to:

  • Be over 18 years old
  • Have a Swedish social security number
  • Have a BankID
  • Have a mobile phone number
  • Have an email address

Vital reserves the right to change its prices and is not responsible for any technical errors caused by the supplier of the e-commerce platform or errors attributable to the laboratory it uses for sampling and analysis. Vital assumes no liability for any errors or omissions in the information about its products.

Consumer Sales Act 

Vital complies with the provisions of the Consumer Sales Act (1990:932) and other laws that govern consumer purchases and purchase contracts.

Payment and fees

Vital uses the Klarna payment service Klarna Pay Direct. Klarna Pay Direct displays the payment options that are available to you. Current payment options are card payment or direct debit via online banking. Using Klarna Pay Direct is free of charge. However, the payment option you select may incur taxes or fees; please see the individual payment terms of the option you select. 

Klarna payment options

In partnership with Klarna Bank AB (publ), Sveavägen 46, 111 34 Stockholm, Sweden, we offer the payment option “Klarna Checkout” where Klarna handles your payment.

Current payment options that are currently available in Klarna Checkout are invoice, payment by instalment, card payment or direct payment by online banking.

For most payment methods, when you complete a purchase in Klarna Checkout, you are concluding a contract with Klarna; one of the terms of that contract is that Klarna guarantees that you do not have to pay if you do not receive your goods. At the same time, Klarna will reimburse the store for what you purchased and thereby assumes the right to receive payment. Regardless of the payment method you choose, your payment thus goes to settle Klarna’s claim for payment.

Invoice
When paying by invoice, Klarna’s current invoice terms apply; currently 14 days credit. A reminder fee is chargeable if payment is not received. If your purchase cost less than SEK 60, SEK 29.00 will be added, and if your purchase cost SEK 60 or more, a reminder fee of SEK 60.00 will be added. in addition, interest on arrears of 24% p.a. on top of the current reference interest rate set by the Swedish Central Bank [Riksbank].

Card payment

We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express cards. Card payments to the Klarna payment exchange are encrypted. With this payment method, you can choose an alternative delivery address.

In order to offer a range of different payment options, we need to share your personal, contact and order details with the provider of the respective payment service. We recommend that you read our Privacy Policy.

The use of this data is governed by the provisions of the current Data Protection Act and Klarna’s Privacy Policy.

Referral validity

Your referral is valid for 3 months starting from the day after the order date. If you do not go to the laboratory before the three months end, the purchase will expire and the referral will expire. 

Right of withdrawal 

You have the right to withdraw from this agreement within 14 days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period expires 14 days after the order date. If you wish to exercise the right of withdrawal, please send an email to kundservice@vital.se.

To exercise your right of withdrawal in time, it is sufficient if you submit your email stating that you intend to exercise the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Effects of exercising right of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this agreement, we will refund all the payments we have received from you. The refund will be processed without undue delay, and in any case no later than 14 days from the date on which we were notified of your decision to withdraw from the agreement. We will use the same means of payment for the refund that you yourself used for the purchase, unless you have explicitly agreed with us otherwise. In any case, the refund will not cost you anything.

Complaints/returns

If you are dissatisfied with the service for any reason, please contact customer support at kundservice@vital.se. If the samples have been lost or otherwise become unusable, you will be given a new test as compensation.

Suppressed identity

In the event that you as a customer have personal data suppression, i.e. if your name and address are suppressed in the population register, if you have identity protection or fictitious personal data, you cannot use Vital’s services. For Vital, processing your personal data is key, and we strive to protect your personal data 100%. Since our services involve processing of your personal data by Vital’s data processors, such as laboratories and IT suppliers, your personal data will be processed by these in order for us to perform the service. All our data processors have undertaken to treat your personal data confidentially, but the mere risk that a customer with protected personal data may be exposed to a third party who is not supposed to be seeing your personal data, means that we cannot offer you our services.
