Returning to sports and physical activity after a cold should only occur after complete recovery. The general recommendation is that one can consider exercising when the symptoms of the cold have completely disappeared and you have felt normal for several days. It is important to listen to your own body and return to exercise gradually, starting with light workouts. Too early or intense training can worsen symptoms or lead to new health issues, such as myocarditis
